Reverend Dr. Sarah Mitchell
Reverend Dr. Sarah Mitchell has served as the senior pastor of Fourth United Presbyterian Church since 2015. With a heart for community and a passion for Scripture, she leads our congregation with warmth, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to God's calling.
A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Pastor Mitchell brings over 20 years of pastoral experience to our church family. Her sermons are known for weaving together deep theological insight with the everyday realities of faith, inspiring members to live boldly and love generously.
Beyond the pulpit, she is deeply involved in community outreach, interfaith dialogue, and mentoring the next generation of church leaders. Under her guidance, our church has grown in both membership and mission, expanding programs for youth, families, and those in need throughout the Knoxville area.
